Freshmanhad the team's top score of the day with a 70, and climbed into the Top 10 in a tie for ninth with four birdies on the day.Sophomoreand senioreach shot an even-par 72 on the final day, placing tied for 27th and 33rd overall respectively. Showing the quality of Long Beach State's day and tournament, sophomorewas the team's drop score Thursday with a 74 and placed in a tie for 16th overall in the tournament, as all five golfers for the Beach were in the top third of the field.The Beach were 14 strokes in front of a three-way tie for third, and well in front of their Big West competition of UC Riverside, Cal State Fullerton, Hawai'i, CSUN and Cal State Bakersfield, all of whom they will see again soon.Next up for Long Beach State is the Big West Championship as the Beach looks to capture the conference crown for the fourth time in program history. With three rounds over three days at Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas, the championship is scheduled to begin on Sunday, April 14.
