A man from Long Beach is behind bars in connection with at least 25 home burglaries. The burglaries spanned from last August to last week.

Police say the man posed as a salesman or service worker, knocked on doors, then made his way inside once he figured out no one was home.

The man stole money, jewelry, collectible coins and heirlooms. Detectives say the man broke into houses in Long Beach, Torrance, Glendale, Cerritos and Los Alamitos.
