Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra has announced the final free Community Concerts in Long Beach Public Libraries this season, set for April 13, 2024 at the Michelle Obama Library. The event, which includes activities for children, teens, and adults, will be followed by a question and answer period and ticket give aways. South Korean-born YuEun, who studied at USC and received the Jeffrey Thomas Award from American Bach Soloists, is considered one of the rising stars in the baroque and classical music world. Led by Music Director Martin Haselböck, Musica Angels is known as Southern California's preeminent historical performance ensemble and tours internationally.

In addition to the many community outreach and educational activities Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra brings to Long Beach, they have announced the last of the four free Community Concerts held in Long Beach Public Libraries this season.

Saturday, April 13, 2024 – Michelle Obama Library at 11:00 a.m. (5870 Atlantic Ave., Long Beach, CA 90805). Activities for children, teens, and adults as part of the presentation. Performance is followed with a question and answer period and ticket give aways.

South Korean born, YuEun studied at USC under Midori and is considered one of the rising stars in the baroque and classical music world. She recently received the Jeffrey Thomas Award from American Bach Soloists and as a core member of Delirium Musicum, she recorded their debut album “Seasons” under the label Warner Classics. In 2022. YuEun was named Artist-in-Residence at Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra and this season, she will have appearances as a soloist with

Baroque Orchestra, and will be touring in Europe and Asia.

Now in its 31st season, Musica Angelica is firmly established as Southern California’s preeminent historical performance ensemble. Led by Music Director and world-renowned organist, Martin Haselböck, the ensemble has toured internationally to widespread acclaim.

Musica Angelica musicians play on authentic instruments of the period, or carefully crafted replicas. The ensemble performs its own series of concerts in Long Beach and Los Angeles and is in demand as a collaborative ensemble performing alongside LA Opera, the LA Master Chorale, Long Beach Camerata Singers Pacific Chorale and Long Beach Opera.
