Officers responding to a report of gunshots found Anthony Valentino Lopez, 27, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body, police said. The Long Beach resident was pronounced dead at the scene. "Through their preliminary investigation, detectives determined the victim and suspects were known to each other and engaged in a dispute that resulted in the shooting," according to a police statement.

Witnesses described a vehicle they saw leaving the area and officers subsequently stopped the vehicle and detained two men inside who were arrested. Police said a firearm was recovered. Delgado was booked on one count of murder and his bail was set at $2 million. Vasquez was also booked on one count of murder and two unrelated outstanding warrants. His bail was set at $2,020,000.

Detectives said they will present a case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office later this week for filing consideration.
