This move put Kim into the Top 10 of the tournament, alongside top teams including Pepperdine and UCLA. Sophomore and true freshman also finished the tournament with scores of 78 and 80 respectively. Despite starting the day in ninth place, Long Beach state moved three spots to share sixth place overall with UC Davis. The team's next tournament will be the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, hosted by Hawai'i on the island of Kaua'i.

True freshman closed out her first tournament as part of the Beach lineup with an 80 as well, one of the team's counting scores again in a promising beginning to her competitive career., competing as an individual, returned to the course Tuesday after a second round retirement with an 80, whiledid not complete the final round and was forced to withdraw.As a team, the Beach climbed three spots after starting the day in ninth overall to share sixth place overall with UC Davis.Long Beach State will have a quick turnaround, as their next tournament begins on Sunday, March 17 as the team takes part in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, hosted by Hawai'i at the Ocean Course Hokuala on the island of Kaua'i.
