In a bright move to celebrate Black History Month, the Black Business CoOp (BBCO), an organization dedicated to fostering the growth of Black-owned businesses, has unveiled a series of empowering events. These events, beginning with an all-day session on February 4th at Hotel Current in Long Beach, California, are designed to provide a platform for networking, learning, and expansion for Black entrepreneurs.

The BBCO’s mission is clear – to empower, foster prosperity, and shape success among Black business owners. In sync with this vision, the organization is raising its game by hosting a range of events throughout Southern California. These events will not just spotlight Black-owned businesses, but also provide them with the tools, resources, and connections needed for their growth and success.

The inaugural event at Long Beach promises to be a power-packed day of insights and interactions. It will feature diverse vendors, informative classes, and the chance to network with industry peers. The event will also host a line-up of remarkable speakers including representatives from the IRS, State Senate District 33 candidate and BBCO Co-Founder Sharifah Hardie, mental health expert and BBCO Co-Founder Dr. Picolya McCall, and talent agency owner and BBCO Co-Founder LyNea Bell.
