First of all...To post a review of YELP is not really bad or really good.

OK. So it is!

I actually looked at Justin Ro here when I was looking for a lawyer to replace my lawyer now.  The lawyer had done nothing to help my case, but took the money and treated me terribly impolite.  (And I'm going to write a negative comment about this lawyer.)

I went to hear another story, but Justin Ro strongly recommended that I submit and keep divorce papers regarding my criminal case.

When my son got into prison because he rode a man's car to see a bicycle, I thought it wasn't serious.  He didn't take anything.  I thought it was a simple trespassing, but the 50,000 dollar bail was exorbitant and troublesome.  I learned that he was charged with a first-class attempted robbery.  Carport shared a wall with the apartment, so breaking the house was considered a felony and violent crime.  What I learned on line was that I could be imprisoned for three years.  The possibility of a charge and punishment seemed totally unreasonable and the son was not arrested.  So I decided to find a lawyer to help me.  I looked for a lawyer at Yelp in South Bay and saw a lot of people, but I consistently saw five-star reviews and vivid descriptions about Justin Lo.  Everyone said that he was capable, clever, considerate, honest, excellent and helped them.  In addition, he understands how to deal with people, maintains good relationships with difficult people, and is prepared to succeed when you need help.  He also strategically captures tactics to achieve battle fields and objectives.  I'll not repeat the story, but let's take a glimpse of my experience.

When I called Justin, he called right away.  He gave an outline of what we might be faced with and suggested that I also check with other lawyers.  When we met our son and mother, we discussed what to face.  He has already examined the place of Carport and advised us.  We maintained his services, he led us through court proceedings and helped assess the risks.  At each stage of the trial he joined us, effectively distributed the judges, and gave us time to study.  He hired a private investigator to ask for witnesses, but he claimed that my son was putting a pencil in his pocket and thought it was there to steal.  The PI was seeking an opportunity for a witness with a police record to act like a street man, but a hero.  When PI and Justin asked him to tell them what happened, he wanted the police report to renew his memory, and he couldn't remember it exactly.  In their assessment the witness would not hesitate to falsify his story in court, and the jury tended to believe him, as he was the only witness.  Justin said that going to trial was a fucking shot.  I might get down or throw a book.  However, after the PI survey, I got a clear image of high risk.

DA proposed a second-grade robbery, felony, prohibition of strikes and one year in prison.  His son was thinking of becoming a teacher, but he was prevented from teaching when he had a serious crime and a sentence, and most of his other jobs were prohibited. The DA offer seemed not good to me, but Justin advised that the strike was a big problem, but he would continue to seek a better deal.  We gathered information that showed his productive past and great potential.  In the second instance, DA was inexperienced and did not feel like doing a new transaction, so Justin went to DA many times and got a much better deal.  The final contract is a second felony, 18 months later, 300 hours of hard work in the community, six months of drug regeneration, and imprisonment to jail.  I can't say how much I appreciate Justin's ability to achieve this greatly improved result.  

For me, a system that punishes so much for such a small offense is still not justice.  It would be absurd to compare the punishment of Robert Bentley, Governor of Alabama, with his judgment.  Benterey essentially took $50,000 (from his campaign account) and robbed her of about $9,000 in legal fees. a year of petty criminals (charged with four felony charges) only for one year unsupervised, received a 100-hour social service and returned to prison terms or rehabilitation  My son has to undergo a felony, three times probation, three times local labor and six months of rehabilitation.  

But I think this is an important role because the system is severe and some people are able to accept punishment that does not impair their ability to make a living.  

On the last day of the court, Justin told us that this judicial system would look like a huge machine that would surprise people unless someone came and pulled them out of the machine's mouth.  Justin did so for us. He took his son out of the machine and gave him a chance to live a good life.  Justin advised my son to be punished for reacting, doing well at school and quit the drug dealer.  I am forever grateful for that.  Thank you, Justin.

So what can you say that all the reviewers here have not yet said? Justin Lo is a man! While lawyers are usually blamed for the worst, Justin will change the minds of the most skeptical. I had a small problem and needed a knowledgeable advice. I called Justin, but in the late days he immediately called him back and spoke to him for nearly half an hour. Though he was a professional, I felt as calm as a good friend. I recommend Justin Lo to anyone who really cares. He is on the increase. I know that if he is necessary, he will make the right choice.
