Long Beach, Mississippi, woman Laura Messina has been fostering hundreds of foster dogs for nine years, giving each one a second chance at a better life. Now, she is creating children's books about these dogs' journeys, sharing stories of rescue, hope, and the power of love. The books, which take young readers along on each dog's journey from foster care to a permanent home, aim to inspire the next generation and support a local rescue. All proceeds from the book sales go directly to Tired Dog Rescue, helping provide the care these dogs need. Two of Messina's books are already available on Amazon and two more are in the works.
