Going to the Day Trip Festival and don’t want to sit in traffic? You’re in luck, as festivalgoers have the opportunity to fly directly to the festival grounds.

Maverick Helicopters is offering the chance to “soar past the Southern California traffic in style” by taking a quick chopper ride from Long Beach Airport to the festival site, the Queen Mary Waterfront in Long Beach.

In addition, for the first time in their history, Maverick is offering a Sky Trip, which is a new “flight exploration” over the SoCal coast and the scenic waterfront.

“Sky Trip provides bird’s eye views of the High Tide and Deep End stages, allowing festivalgoers to admire the vibrant energy from above,” Maverick Helicopters said in a release.

The flight is only available to Day Trip attendees and costs $249 for a one-way ticket. A round-trip ticket costs $399.

After departing Long Beach Airport, the helicopter will land at the Maverick Helicopters Private Terminal, located within the festival grounds.

Sky Trip routes will run from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on June 22 and June 23, the two days the festival takes place.

For those with a little more cash to spend, Maverick Helicopters is also offering private charters from any Los Angeles and Orange County airport for $2,499.

More information, including a link to book helicopter service, can be found here.

Maverick Helicopters, one of the largest aviation-based tourism companies in the world, flies more than 250,000 guests per year out of six locations in Nevada, Arizona, California and Hawaii, officials said.
